SERTOMA is SERvice TO MAnkind. It’s more than just how we got our name, it’s been our foundation for more than 100 years.
Sertoma volunteers across the country are unified with a single purpose: serve our communities and improve the lives of those who need help. Our mission and our passion is to improve the quality of life for those at risk or impacted by hearing loss through education and support.
Sertoma Clubs across North Carolina, Virginia and Maryland make Camp Sertoma happen each year. Sertoma members provide the volunteer leadership and support for Camp Sertoma for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children.
Ever wondered who is in charge or runs Camp Sertoma for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children (formerly known as Sertoma Deaf Camp)? The Sertoma Camp Committee does. We have
a dedicated group of Sertoma volunteers from North Carolina, Virginia and Maryland who work tirelessly throughout the year to make our special week of Camp Sertoma a success every year!
Do you want to work as a cabin counselor for Deaf Camp? Visit our staff page and download an application. Send your application to CampSertomaNCcoordinator@gmail.com
See for yourself the great things that campers do during their week at Camp Sertoma:
If you are a Sertoma member, these are great tools to use at your club meetings. We need more camper sponsorships!
Please follow the directions on the camper or staff application. Each has a specific email address to which applications should be sent.
