Financial Information & Policies

Camp Sertoma is held rain or shine, unless inclement weather adversely affects the program. If there is a need to cancel, registered participants will be notified and refunds will be processed accordingly.

Registration & Camp Tuition Fees for 2023

 Camp tuition covers most direct costs such as food, program supplies, supplementary health and accident insurance, and camp counselor salaries. Indirect costs such as planning and administering the program are costs subsidized by the Camp Sertoma Committee. 

  •  $50 deposit --required for each camper to reserve a spot at camp. Your $50 deposit will be applied toward camp tuition fees & must accompany all applications.  
  • $525 per camper for applications received by April 15 ​(includes $50 early bird discount). 
  • $575 per camper for applications received between April 15 and June 1.

Camp Sertoma Refund Policy

Camp Deposits 

Deposits are nonrefundable, except in these instances: 

  • If, during the application process, your child is found to not be eligible to attend Camp Sertoma, your deposit will be refunded. 
  • For first-time campers and their families—if, after attending the May 21 Camp Open House, you decide that camp is not for you, we will refund your deposit. Written notification must be made within one week of the Open House.


Camp Tuition 

Our staff and volunteers spend significant time and money planning camp programming months prior to the start of camp. Prompt cancellation notification allows time to make necessary adjustments. 


If you find that your camper can no longer attend Camp Sertoma, please notify the camp registration coordinator as early as possible. 

  • A full refund will be provided if Camp Sertoma is cancelled by the Camp Sertoma planning committee due to insufficient registration, acts of nature, or other reasons beyond its control. 
  • In the event that a registered camper has a family emergency or is sick, a written refund request must be made no later than 10 business days after the start of camp date to receive a refund in the amount of fees paid less any nonrefundable deposit.
